GRAVY TOUR: The Boom Boom Room finale

Friday night in San Francisco. Through the long travels, this was the “IT” that the band wanted to have. A packed house in a music-hungry city. A true test of the funk power this group brings to the table.

This was as far south EG&TCS had played, and the anticipation from all parties was electric. Although the cover at the Boom Boom Room was $12, people came in from off the street, payed the cover and hopped into the bar, simply expecting that the bands playing would kick ass. Of course, they did.

Pics from the Boom Boom Room! A great trip and more people funked to the bone, thanks to Eldridge Gravy and the Court Supreme.

GRAVY TOUR: take that sac-town. funk in YO face!

The Press Club was a a small but cozy venue. With little promo done for this show, there were only a few hours to walk around the neighborhood, but a small crowd did manage to turn up. This being the furthest The Gravy have traveled, any crowd was a good crowd. They had no idea what was comin.

A dimly-lit stage opens out onto a dance floor and pool table behind it. I managed to catch Donny D. and the Lady Gravy in some awesome over-hanging lights before they started their show. Eldridge Gravy and the Court Supreme rocked The Press Club on Monday night, Aug. 16 and were offered to play on Tuesday. Good clout is building in Sacramento! Here are some pics, video to come!
